This month, my self-portrait comes from a stock shoot I did. It’s a concept for volunteerism. Every year I volunteer to shoot the Out of the Darkness suicide awareness and prevention walk and feel strongly about volunteerism altogether. I could quote one of hundreds of cliches about volunteerism, but I won’t. You already know volunteering is good.

Well, June was a special month for several reasons, but the biggest deal and most exciting news of all…I’ll let my little boy spill the beans.

Yep! Our family’s growing! My wife and I are super-excited and can’t wait to welcome our second child. He or she will arrive in the very early part of 2011. That’s the best news I’ve had all year 🙂

(My little boy doesn’t look too excited in the photo, but I’m sure that’ll change once his sibling is here.)

This month’s installment of the Self-Portrait Project is a two-fer so you can really appreciate those chinburns. That’s right. Sideburns for your chin. Dig it!

Is it me or does it seem like this project is beginning to feature facial hair styles? Hmmm…wonder what to grow next 🙂
