We explored Moraine Hills State Park during Michael and Jennifer’s e-session and had a blast doing it. I love laughing and getting to know my couples while we shoot. Only downer was a tick that I had to remove when I got home. Even with the tick, it was an excellent session!

Come September, Michael and Jennifer will start their life together as one. And they’re doing it the way marriage was intended—through a selfless commitment to each other before God. They take their faith very seriously (is there another way to take it?) and are looking forward to their lifelong journey.

Being part of a wedding like this is a huge blessing for me because Michael and Jennifer seek to glorify God on their wedding day. It’s so easy to get caught up in the “now” on the wedding day, but these two have made it clear it’s not about just them, and I admire that.

Jordan liked Jessica before she liked him, and she certainly never thought they’d be where they are today. They knew each other at church and while Jordan had the hots for Jessica, she didn’t pay much attention. Now, less than two months away from their wedding, they are hopelessly in love and I get to document their joy and excitement as they begin their life together. How exciting!

Jordan and Jessica are building their marriage on the most solid foundation I can think of, and the beauty is that the focus is not on either one of them. With Jesus firmly planted as the cornerstone of their marriage and commitment, there is little they cannot endure—the good, the bad, the challenges, the celebrations. I’m so happy for you two and can’t wait for you to enjoy the blessing of marriage and lifelong partnership!
