How to Book a Shoot

To book a shoot, call me at 815.236.8908. You can also email via the contact page. Be sure to include your phone number, date you’d like to shoot and what kind of session you’re interested in.

Shooting Locations

I’m based in Woodstock, IL, but I shoot all over. Most of my sessions are done outdoors at locations my clients choose, but if you need ideas, I’ve got plenty. Studio shooting can be arranged as well, but I prefer shooting outdoors for the unique environmental qualities the great outdoors offers.

Proofs

You can expect to see your proofs no later than two weeks after your session. It’s usually sooner, but when I’m maxed for shooting, two weeks is the long end. As soon as they’re ready, I’ll contact you so we can set up an appointment to review them.

Payment

A nonrefundable deposit of $50 is due when booking. Remaining session fees are due at the time of shooting, or you may pay for the entire session up front. You may pay with cash, check or credit card.

Session Fees

Session fees cover my time, creative vision, retouching and expertise. If my session fees seem high, we’re probably not a good fit for each other.

Facebook Images

All sessions include images for use on Facebook. You may choose your Facebook images only from those which you purchased prints. These images are low-resolution digital files meant for on-screen viewing only. Each image will include my logo on it. These images may not be altered or cropped in any way, and I ask that my name and contact info be included in the description.

What About a CD?

A CD of images is not automatically included with each session. However, you may purchase one for an additional cost.

What to Bring to Sessions

Portrait sessions are unique to you, so bring whatever you want to match your personality, style and look. Bring your dog, your stamp collection or even your favorite rubber rain boots.

Copyright

I own the copyright on all images taken in all sessions. That means photos may not be used, printed, distributed or shared without my explicit permission.
